Kelleys Island is the second-largest of the Lake Erie Islands, an archipelago shared between the United States and Canada. The island approximately ten miles north of Sandusky, Ohio.  Kelleys Island is within sight of the Canadian border. The year-round population of just over 300 swells up to 5,000 during the summer months. With a landmass of twenty-eight hundred acres and twelve miles of beautiful shoreline, the island has a lot to offer. Middle Bass Island

Middle Bass Island is one of the Lake Erie islands of the U.S. state of Ohio. A small town, Middle Bass, lies on the island. The 805-acre island is shaped like the Big Dipper and is one of three Bass Islands located at the center of a group of 23 smaller islands. It is located in Put-in-Bay Township, Ottawa County, Ohio. Home of the historic Lonz Winery, visitors now enjoy an open-air pavilion and historical wine exhibits; explore the island’s state park, wildlife area, and nature preserves.

The city has been nicknamed the “Walleye Capital of the World.” The city is known for its annual Walleye Drop, commemorating the new year.
